Pokémon weakness FAQ
What is each Pokémon type weak to?
Normal: Fighting; Fire: Water, Ground and Rock; Water: Electric and Grass; Electric: Ground; Grass: Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying and Bug; Ice: Fire, Fighting, Rock and Steel; Fighting: Flying, Psychic and Fairy; Poison: Ground and Psychic; Ground: Water, Grass and Ice; Flying: Electric, Ice and Rock; Psychic: Bug, Ghost and Dark; Bug: Fire, Flying and Rock; Rock: Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground and Steel; Ghost: Ghost and Dark; Dragon: Ice, Dragon and Fairy; Dark: Fighting, Bug and Fairy; Steel: Fire, Fighting and Ground; Fairy: Poison and Steel.
Which type has the most weaknesses?
As a single type, Grass and Rock have the most weaknesses (5): Grass is weak to Fire, Ice, Poison, Flying and Bug; Rock is weak to Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground and Steel.
Which type has the fewest weaknesses?
Normal and Electric have only one weakness: Normal is weak only to Fighting; Electric is weak only to Ground. Steel resists the most types (10) and is immune to Poison.
How do dual types change weaknesses?
Multiply the two types' matchups. If both types are weak to an attack it deals 4× (Landorus's Ground/Flying takes 4× from Ice); if one is weak and the other resists it deals 1×; any immunity makes it 0×. Each Pokémon's weakness page shows the result.
