How does the random Pokémon generator work?
It draws from every Pokémon that matches your filters — generation, type, evolution stage, legendary status, forms and game — with equal odds for each. Press Generate again for a fresh roll; your filters are remembered on this device.
Can I get random Pokémon from only one generation or type?
Yes. Tap any mix of Gen 1–9 and any types. Choosing Gen 1 and Fire, for example, only ever returns Gen 1 Fire-type Pokémon such as Charmander, Vulpix, Growlithe or Magmar.
Can I use it for a randomizer or challenge run?
Roll six with "Fully evolved" and "Exclude" legendaries for a fair random team, or limit it to the game you're playing so every result is obtainable. Then press "Build a team with these" to see the team's weaknesses — or track the run in the Nuzlocke tracker.
Are Mega Evolutions and regional forms included?
Regional forms (Alolan, Galarian, Hisuian, Paldean) are on by default; Megas and other forms like Rotom's appliances are optional switches.
