A damage calc that works on your phone
This Pokémon damage calculator uses the same formula as the Pokémon Showdown damage calculator, so the numbers match what you see in battle. Choose All generations for Gen 1–9 with Showdown rules, Champions for Pokémon Champions (level 50, Stat Points, Megas) or Scarlet / Violet for Tera.
Building a team first? Make it in the Pokémon team builder, then tap Import here to calc any member. For Champions VGC there is also the Champions damage calculator; to plan EVs or Stat Points use the stat calculator, and check matchups with the type chart.
How the damage range works
Damage is base power × attack ÷ defense, adjusted for level, STAB, type effectiveness, items, abilities, weather and screens — then multiplied by a random roll between 85% and 100%. That roll is why a move like Earthquake shows something like 38.2–45.1%: the low end is the 85% roll, the high end the 100% roll. The KO chance counts how many of the rolls (16 from Gen 3 on, 39 in Gen 1–2) are enough, including Leftovers and weather chip.

FAQ
Is this the same as the Pokémon Showdown damage calculator?
It runs the same open-source engine as calc.pokemonshowdown.com (@smogon/calc, MIT licence), so the numbers match Showdown for every generation. On top of that it works one-handed on a phone, imports sets straight from your saved team or any Showdown paste, and explains each damage range roll by roll.
Which generations and battle rules can I choose?
Gen 1 to Gen 9 with each generation's own mechanics (Gen 1–2 have no abilities or natures and use 39 damage rolls; Hail becomes Snow in Gen 9; terrain from Gen 6). Pick level 100 for Smogon singles, level 50 for VGC doubles or level 5 for Little Cup, or switch to Pokémon Champions (level 50 with Stat Points) or Scarlet/Violet with Tera.
Does it work as a Pokémon Champions damage calculator?
Yes. Choose Champions to use Stat Points (32 per stat, 66 total), Mega Evolutions and the popular Regulation sets. There is also a dedicated Champions damage calculator page with the same engine.
Why does the damage calc show a range instead of one number?
Every attack multiplies its damage by a random factor between 85% and 100% (16 possible rolls from Gen 3 on, 39 in Gen 1–2). The calculator shows the lowest and highest roll; open "Why this range?" under any move to see every roll and how many of them knock out.
How do I import my team?
Tap Import. Teams you built in the DexTeam team builder appear automatically, or paste a Showdown set or full team. Send any Pokémon to the Attacker or Defender side with one tap — moves, item, ability, nature and EVs come with it.
What do OHKO and 2HKO mean?
OHKO means one hit knocks out, 2HKO two hits. "Guaranteed" means every roll does it; a percentage counts the rolls (and end-of-turn effects like Leftovers or weather) that reach the KO.
