EV training planner
Set the EVs it has and the spread you want. The plan uses vitamins first, then KOs on the best Pokémon for that stat, then feathers to land exactly.

FAQ
What are EVs in Pokémon?
Effort Values are points a Pokémon earns by defeating other Pokémon. Each species gives 1–3 EVs in one or more stats. A Pokémon can hold 510 EVs in total and 252 in one stat; at level 100 every 4 EVs add one stat point (8 EVs at level 50).
How do I EV train fastest?
Use vitamins first (each gives 10 EVs; up to 252 per stat from Gen 8, up to 100 before), then defeat Pokémon that give EVs in the stat you want while holding a Power item (+8 per KO from Gen 7, +4 before) and with Pokérus (doubles everything). Finish with feathers, which give exactly 1 EV.
How many KOs do I need for 252 EVs?
With a Power item and Pokérus a 1-EV Pokémon gives 18 EVs per KO, so exactly 14 KOs reach 252. With only a Power item (9 per KO) it takes 28; with nothing at all, 252 KOs of a 1-EV Pokémon. In Gen 8+ simply buy 25 vitamins and add 2 feathers.
How does the calculator read EVs from stats?
Given the level, nature and IVs, it tries every EV value and keeps those that produce the stat you see. EVs only count in steps of 4 (8 at level 50), so it shows the range of EVs that give the same stat.
How do I reset EVs?
Feed EV-reducing berries (Pomeg, Kelpsy, Qualot, Hondew, Grepa, Tamato — 10 EVs each) or, in Scarlet and Violet, a Fresh-Start Mochi, which resets all EVs at once.
Does Pokémon Champions use EVs?
No. Champions replaces EVs with 66 Stat Points you hand out freely (up to 32 per stat). Each point adds one stat point at level 50. Pick Champions in the Game menu to read Stat Points back from stats.
